Art Of Elysium Gala: More Than Just A Volunteer Event
Ok well maybe it is.
But this small town girl didnt think it was just that-- volunteer event.
It was more than just checking guests in and tellin them where to go and giving them their seat table numbers. It was more than just that.
Coming from a small town in the Philippines with humble beginnings to be able to work at such a prestigious charity event with an exhaustive hollywood guest list, i was savoring every second of it. Appreciating it for what it was. I may sound over reacting and it may seem like it wasnt a big deal.. but hey, a girl with big dreams and finally get to get a little taste of it? Man, it was more that what I expected.
To see some 30 or so hollywood celebrities and be able to say "hi how are you doing?" or "your dress is gorgeous." or "hey, you look beautiful tonight." and "have a great time in there tonight." plus some of them hilariously check their names in, it was a blast. They were just like normal people. Well I wasnt a FOB obssessed fan.. But hell yeah i was rejoicing. oh, and saying "whats up" to 50 cent? yeah icing on the cake.

Dear Juneau: Top Ten Memorable Moments
1. JUNEAU: Clean air, no traffic, easy drive, cheaper drinks, snow caps, white christmas.
2. Mom Dad Sister + kids and Bill, Daisy, and Bella..and Home cooked meals from Mom
3. Being able to afford a nice computer monitor and wireless keyboard/mouse for the parents for Christmas
4. Ashley and Mckay, reunited. (Ashley thanks for the book!!! I started reading it and I was like "jesus, everyone should read this). Mckay, your dance moves are ever so great!
5. Zarah, Raemond, Malou, Malissa, Grace altogether again...+ Four Lokos + donut holes+ hot and regular cheetos.. and the conversations we had LOL.
6. Nights at the Imperial (classic classic classic) Dj White Chocolate thanks for the Coke and Crown hahaha
7. Ice skating with Joanne and Cheska. (You're so big now! and smartypants!)
8. Jan 1st New Year topper: something scandalous lol. And I was hammmmmmeereeeddd.
9. Kristina and Caleb + home cooked meal + ice cream + Caleb's kisses (Caleb is a lil flirt lol)
10. Rendesvous x 3, 10pm Waffle house, Montana creek watching the moon, Glacier (and the cops checking on us lol), Douglas House x 2 and everything that goes with it hahaha, Dragon dinner @ Canton House, Walmart, Imperial, pel Meni, Parking at the University, Attempted Lena beach stop, NOAA facility, breakfast at my house, andddddd Drinks at the airport...all with a great friend.
oh, and a number 11.
