So I went to see American Idol live. haha

I signed up for a seat about six months ago.

finally, i got the email last week saying i have an eligible voucher. so. i went.

I ended up being in the mosh pit, so close to the stage. I got really excited. we were sitting at the stage when we were waiting for the thing to start. During commercial breaks they had a singing contest. of course i volunteered to sing (LOL, self promotion).. I sang “I will survive” acapella, then the band joined in..in front of the whole studio, with all the idol contestants sitting at the audience as well. The winner was chosen by the audience applause. Ladies and gents, I won!

in case you're wondering, I got a 32 gig Ipod Touch as a price. not too bad huh? lol

Then the show started. It was like a free concert. Celebs that were there included:

Victoria Beckham, David Cook, Morgan Freeman, Alicia Keyes, Wanda Sykes, Mary J Blige, Travis Barker, Orianthi, Carrie Underwood, the judges of course, Ryan Seacrest of course, the top 12 idol contestants,.. My highlight definitely was Alicia Keyes (man she was GORGEOUS) and Mary J.

so, $24 bucks for parking later, i got a new ipod touch and an experience of a lifetime.!

I NEED TO BE ON AMERICAN IDOL NEXT SEASON

If there's no way, i'll make one.

ughhh.

“RonaMay, what happened to you?”

I have been asked this question a lot lately. especially by those whom I have not spoken to/seen in a while..

I admit the past two months have been quite life changing for me. and although I have stressed it enough that I only did one thing – change the way i think – it may still not make sense to anyone.

changing the way i think led to:

1) i read better books now – Think and Grow Rich, Rich Dad Poor Dad, Achievement, How to be a boss without being a Bitch, How to Win Friends and Influence People.

2) I read financial journals – instead of reading People, OK, Cosmo, Seventeen. These ones don’t teach me how to make money.

3). I listen to motivational speakers in my car. Although I love music, Usher and Alicia Keyes will never help me become rich. Jim Rohn and Jeff Olson however, will.

4). I spend less time on facebook – unless, it has something to do with my way to earning six figures. Oh, and I stopped watching TV and reading the newspaper. There’s a bunch of crap out there that do nothing but instill fear upon us… which condition us to become fearful of change. The fact is, same shit happens every decade. Same negative shit.

5) I disassociated with people who have my problems – mainly, those who are as broke as I am, and as not ambitious as I am.

6). I surrounded myself with successful people. Not just rich, but stinkin rich making over a 100grand a year, and listened to what they have to say. They are now my mentors and I buy their opinions. Like the saying says, “When you buy someone’s opinion, you buy their lifestyle.”

7). I committed to my own success. Now I want it like I want food.

8). I realized in order for me to get what I want, I need to help others get what they want. Like the bible says, “Service to others leads to Greatness.”

9). I acknowledged the fact that only I can change my future and not the economy, my boss, my work, my parents, or even my friends.

10). The thought of having more people contributing to my income over the course of five years on my way to six figures is well worth it, than stay at a job that can control my sick days, holidays, paydays, and paychecks.

The Quest to Six Figures began Yesterday.

IT'S ON.

Six figures here I come.

HOw much are you aiming for? hopefully not the minimum!
Life is difficult enough, why not achieve a goal while you're at it?

"You have to be stubborn with your success. Want it like a starving man wants food."
